Security Level 5 is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate a secure, air-gapped compute platform for frontier AI workloads. The role involves setting up racks, configuring networks and device security policies, managing signed images and build pipelines, enforcing allow-listing, and supporting researchers in a high-security environment. Candidates should have substantial production infrastructure experience, familiarity with secure boot, attestation, code signing, key management, and network segmentation, and the ability to work in air-gapped or otherwise hard-isolated environments. The role is based in the Bay Area, requires in-person work, and offers a base salary of $200,000-$350,000 USD per year plus benefits.
