Description
Security Level 5 is hiring an AI Security Engineer to design and operationalize the network, machine, physical, personnel, and supply-chain security needed for a Security Level 5 datacenter. The role includes threat modeling AI training infrastructure against nation-state adversaries, red-teaming critical infrastructure, assessing productivity impacts, building custom security tooling, co-developing standards with labs and government stakeholders, and publishing research. Candidates should have substantial experience in infrastructure security, security research, threat intelligence, red-teaming, or frontier AI training infrastructure, along with production-system experience and adversary-thinking skills. The role is in-person in the Bay Area and offers a base salary of $200,000-$350,000 USD per year plus healthcare, dental, vision, and other benefits.
