Description
Microsoft is hiring a Memory Hardware Engineer II to support first-party silicon products and improve the reliability, performance, serviceability, cost, and delivery readiness of memory subsystems for Azure cloud hardware. The role defines supportability requirements, identifies platform design and validation gaps, partners with silicon, firmware, operating-system, validation, and serviceability teams, and uses reliability data and telemetry to resolve recurring issues. Required qualifications include a relevant master's degree or a bachelor's degree plus at least two years of technical engineering experience; preferred qualifications include memory subsystem experience, DDR or LPDDR interfaces, C/C++/Python/PowerShell automation, data analytics, and platform bring-up. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 102,100–202,200 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
