HRL Laboratories is hiring a MEMS IMU Validation Engineer to develop system-level validation plans, test coverage, pass/fail criteria, and release-readiness documentation for navigation-grade MEMS inertial measurement units. The role partners cross-functionally, manages configuration control and engineering changes, prepares prototypes and early-production units for evaluation, performs hardware testing and characterization, and uses electronic test equipment to verify and troubleshoot instrumentation. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of hands-on electronics experience, knowledge of electrical engineering and circuit design, proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW, and experience with test equipment. The position offers a California salary range of $128,000 to $159,950 and includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement matching, gym facilities, paid time off, and sick time.
