Description

Reach for Resources Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to provide rehabilitative services to adults with mental illnesses. This includes instruction, support, and assistance aimed at improving psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living skills. The practitioner will work under the guidance of an ARMHS Treatment Director and Clinical Supervisor, focusing on building basic living and social skills in individuals' homes or communities.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: At least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields, or a Master's or other graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related fields.
Required Previous Experiences: 2,000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with a mental illness or a substance use disorder, or a traumatic brain injury or a developmental disability.
Completed a practicum or internship requiring direct interaction with adult or child clients focused on behavioral sciences or related fields, or currently enrolled in such a program.
Preferred Qualifications: Self-starter with strong teaching skills, adaptable to change, and proficient in motivational interviewing.
