Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. is hiring Qualified Mental Health Staff (QMHS) for full-time and part-time shifts in its Mental Health Transitional Living Program. The role supports individuals with serious mental illness in a structured, community-based setting through caseload management, individualized action plans, daily living skills training, mental health monitoring, crisis intervention, medication administration, care coordination, group activities, and documentation. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field, or an associate’s degree plus three years of mental health experience, along with communication, crisis-decision-making, teamwork, and compassionate skills. A valid New York State driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to navigate stairs and respond to emergencies are also required. The hourly rate is $19.18–$24.94, and the posting includes a sign-on bonus opportunity.
