Description
The Lansing School District is hiring a Mental Health Specialist to provide comprehensive mental health services and support to PreK-12 students throughout the school day. The role delivers individual counseling, group interventions, screenings, crisis response, safety planning, referrals, consultation, documentation, prevention programming, and support for a safe school climate. Candidates must have experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy, trauma-informed care, risk assessments, safety planning, and collaboration with students, families, school staff, and community providers.
