Dungarvin is hiring a Mental Health Specialist II to provide direct, person-centered support to individuals with complex mental health and behavioral needs in its Acute Behavioral Services group homes. The role includes behavior support, crisis prevention and de-escalation, safety and restraint procedures, daily living assistance, documentation, medication administration where permitted, family support, and team collaboration. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of experience working with individuals with chronic and severe mental illness or a mental-health-related degree, a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding work. The position pays $24 per hour and includes a $3,000 retention bonus, medical, vision, and dental insurance for full-time employees, retirement matching, paid time off, training, and other benefits.
