Description
Mortenson is hiring an MEP Estimator II to gather, calculate, and compile data for project estimates, including quantity takeoffs, material summations, vendor bid comparisons, schedule-driven estimates, pricing options, and full estimates for smaller projects. The role supports lead estimators, participates in plan and estimate reviews, gathers permitting and government information, manages addendum documents, and provides direction and training to new estimators and interns. Candidates need an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, at least three years of construction operations experience, a current driver’s license, mathematical and estimating software skills, and the ability to interpret company policies. The base pay range is $91,700 to $123,800, with higher ranges in Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C., and visa sponsorship is not offered.
