Description
The MEP Project Manager coordinates mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems from preconstruction through construction and postconstruction. The role oversees MEP installations, quality control, code and specification compliance, punch lists, contractor performance, scheduling, submittals, change orders, field coordination, commissioning, BIM coordination, procurement, and subcontractor negotiations. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, three to seven years of progressively responsible MEP construction experience, knowledge of MEP systems and building codes, BIM software proficiency, and the ability to travel and work on multiple projects.
