Description
LaBella Associates is hiring an MEP Plan Reviewer to perform technical reviews of commercial, institutional, multifamily, and mixed-use construction documents for compliance with New York State building, fire prevention, energy, local amendment, and referenced code requirements. The role reviews mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy systems; coordinates with multidisciplinary reviewers and external stakeholders; prepares review comments; answers technical questions; and supports quality control and code research. It requires current New York State Code Enforcement Official certification, extensive MEP review or design experience, knowledge of New York State codes, communication and organizational skills, remote-work capability, and proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office. A bachelor's degree, PE license, commercial design, third-party or municipal plan review, elevator experience, and additional ICC certifications are preferred.
