Willdan is hiring an MEP Plans Examiner in the Anaheim, California area to review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing/gas plans for commercial and possibly multi-family residential projects. The role verifies compliance with California and local building codes, coordinates review comments with other disciplines, prepares correction letters, maintains plan-review records, and serves as a technical resource for staff, contractors, and the public. Applicants need at least five years of plan-check experience, strong municipal experience, ICC Building Plans Examiner certification, and one or more mechanical, electrical, or plumbing plans examiner certifications.
