Description
The role is responsible for sourcing, screening, selecting, and managing product assortments to meet sales and margin targets; conducting market and supplier analysis; developing new products; maintaining prices and product quality; supporting stores; and supervising Assistant Merchandise Managers. It requires a bachelor's degree or related work experience, at least five years of experience in food and non-food product development and purchasing, strong merchandising and supplier-relationship skills, and strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
