Description
Ernest is seeking a full-time, on-site Merchandiser/Buyer to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping partnerships, pricing, and performance, ensuring customers receive quality solutions, competitive pricing, and exceptional service. Key responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating new products, building vendor relationships, monitoring market conditions, managing inventory, establishing selling prices, updating part numbers and costs using SAP, collaborating with internal teams, processing merchandise control requests, maintaining supplier communications, and providing insights for process improvements. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, focusing on cost savings and high-volume POs, along with strong negotiation and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and comfort working in an ERP system.
