North Point Technology is hiring an MES Developer in Warren, Michigan to support a ground-up manufacturing automation implementation for a major automotive manufacturer. The role focuses on designing, programming, integrating, and commissioning Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/GuardLogix PLCs, Ignition HMI/SCADA applications, and PLC-to-MES systems, including work-order verification, traceability, recipe management, production reporting, barcode and RFID integration, label-printing processes, and production launch activities. The position requires hands-on experience with PLC programming, Ignition, manufacturing transactions, commissioning, and automotive or high-volume discrete manufacturing environments.
