Corning is hiring a MES Software Engineer / Technical Lead to define, develop, implement, and support standardized Siemens Opcenter MES solutions across a global environment. The role establishes manufacturing-system architecture, translates business requirements into technical solutions, leads global projects, and coordinates with business leaders, users, and IT resources. It requires a BS or MS in a relevant field, strong .NET and C# experience, manufacturing-systems knowledge, database and source-control expertise, and project-management and leadership skills. The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with remote work in East Coast or Central US time zones, a four-plus-month duration, a Monday-to-Friday schedule, and up to 25% travel.
