Description
The Metallurgical Application Engineer serves as the lead contact for selected customers, assessing technical feasibility, developing solutions, supporting test planning and customer complaints, and coordinating with production, sales, planning, quality, R&D, and sustainability functions. The role also supports recycling projects, external-furnace qualifications and audits, and scrap-circuit sustainability initiatives. It requires a technical degree in metallurgy, materials science, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field, with initial professional experience in application engineering, technical customer support, or technical sales preferred. The position involves customer interaction, occasional business travel, and requires English and German proficiency.
