Description
The Metallurgical Technical Associate will provide technical support to sales teams and customers, solve product issues at production plants and customer sites, develop new products, recommend product formulations, review manufacturing processes, support RFQ and product development, train technical teams, analyze trial data, and present customer process reports. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Materials Science Engineering, at least two years of similar experience or an educational equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel; steel-industry experience and Python experience are assets. The position is based in New Kensington, Pennsylvania or Milan, Michigan, depending on the area of focus, and includes extended healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.
