Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring a Senior Metallurgist for its Macassa Mine Process Plant Department. The role oversees metallurgical laboratory and operations testing, electrowinning and gold-pouring activities, sampling, process surveys, mill metallurgical accounting, refinery settlements, and technical support to mill and laboratory operations. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or a Chemical or Metallurgical Technologist Diploma with five years of gold metallurgy experience and supervision experience in mining process plant operations. It follows a 7/7 schedule and includes base salary and a potential bonus opportunity.
