Howmet Engines (HES) is hiring a Metallurgist to support its Quality department and Sales activities at its aerospace forging plant in Rochester, New York. The role investigates metal properties and processing, develops forging methods for ferrous, titanium, and nickel-base alloys, supports customer product approvals and non-conformance controls, develops hot-working, cold-working, and heat-treating processes, troubleshoots manufacturing problems, and supports continuous improvement and quality documentation. The position requires a bachelor's degree, six months of related experience, and offers a $1000 sign-on bonus and a salary range of $75,000-$100,000; visa sponsorship is not available.
