The Dallas Morning News is hiring a Meteorologist to lead weather-focused service journalism for the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The role involves producing forecasts and weather stories from satellite, forecast-model, and radar data; reporting breaking and severe weather; explaining complex meteorological events to a general audience; contributing to newsletters and live updates; developing weather graphics and tools; and advising newsroom staff. The position is full time, based in or requiring relocation to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with weekend and evening work as needed.
