Downer is hiring a Methods & Optimisation Specialist for its Rail and Transit Systems team at the Cardiff site. The role develops, validates, standardises and continuously improves rolling-stock maintenance methods, translating maintenance requirements, overhaul procedures, inspections and engineering changes into safe, efficient work instructions and standard work. The specialist will analyse maintenance and asset performance data, improve work plans and schedules, track KPIs, support continuous improvement, and work with operations, engineering, planning, training, quality and safety teams to embed improvements on the shop floor.
