Wabtec UK is hiring a permanent, full-time Methods Engineer in Birkenhead to optimise assembly and manufacturing processes for train maintenance, repair, and overhaul programmes. The role involves developing process flows and work instructions, designing tools and fixtures, analysing drawings and production methods, improving capacity and quality, supporting complex production problems, and leading improvement projects. Candidates need an engineering HNC or degree, production or methods engineering experience, Lean and MRP knowledge, problem-solving skills, Microsoft proficiency, and presentation skills. The position requires legal authorisation to work in the UK and does not offer visa sponsorship.
