Description
The employer is hiring a permanent, on-site Metrology Technician in Abingdon, Oxford, to inspect and measure complex metal components throughout manufacturing. The role operates automated and semi-automated metrology and testing equipment, supports structured light scanning, tensile testing, CMM, XCT, and optical measurement, records inspection results, maintains traceability records, and supports equipment checks and calibration activities. Training is available for candidates with the right technical aptitude and willingness to learn, while previous metrology, quality inspection, testing, manufacturing, engineering, or laboratory experience is advantageous.
