Description
Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to scale manufacturing across a global network of contract manufacturers, original design manufacturers, and component vendors. The role owns PFMEAs, control plans, and process flows from product startup through end of life, leads quality control processes, provides hands-on technical support during new product introductions, investigates customer escalations through root cause analysis, and requires regular domestic and international travel. Candidates need at least three years of high-volume manufacturing or sourcing experience, a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, and two years of manufacturing engineering experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware, plus two years of product development experience.
