Wabtec is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Jackson, Tennessee to support complex manufacturing processes, equipment, automation, and continuous improvement. The role includes preventative maintenance, tooling development, PLC-based troubleshooting, capital equipment projects, process studies, new-product manufacturing support, mechanical fabrication, testing, engineering change requests, operator training, and Lean activities. Candidates need at least 8 years of experience in a high-performance manufacturing environment, along with welding, machining, PLC, blueprint reading, CNC programming, and drafting or modeling skills. The pay range is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
