Description
The Equipment Technician supports manufacturing lines by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, and updating mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment. The role follows production shift schedules, performs scheduled and emergency maintenance, documents equipment events in SAP, manages critical spare parts, supports engineering improvements and qualification activities, and trains setup technicians. Candidates need a technical certificate in electronics, mechanics, or a similar field, mechanical and electronics aptitude, troubleshooting experience, blueprint-reading ability, and knowledge of pneumatic and electronic systems; CAD proficiency, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, and medical or PLC experience are preferred.
