Illumina is hiring a Mfg/Ops Quality Engineer 1 to support manufacturing and product quality activities in a regulated in-vitro diagnostic environment. The role provides quality engineering support across the product life cycle, assists with validation planning and transfer, manages nonconformances and CAPA records, supports process risk management and change orders, reviews GMP-compliant validation reports, analyzes quality data, and coordinates issue resolution with manufacturing, process engineering, and cross-functional teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or science, 0–2 years of quality assurance experience in a regulated environment, and knowledge of applicable quality regulations; it is based in the United States, offers a base salary of $62,900–$94,300, and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
