Amgen is hiring a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, also referred to as an Automation Engineer, to support complex process automation initiatives at its Rhode Island facility. The role provides technical support for process control, automation infrastructure, and process systems; leads root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and project work involving DeltaV and other control systems; supports new product and technology introductions; and provides 24x7 rotational on-call support. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED with 8 years of automation or engineering experience, or an associate’s degree with 6 years, or a bachelor’s degree with 2 years; a master’s degree is also listed as a basic qualification.
