Description

The GoAnywhere MFT Developer will modernize enterprise file-transfer automation by analyzing legacy Microsoft System Center Orchestrator runbooks and refactoring them into GoAnywhere MFT workflows, projects, and job definitions. The role covers workflow design, SFTP, SSH, PGP, SMB, authentication, error handling, logging, testing, deployment, stakeholder collaboration, risk and impact analysis, and documentation. It is a six-month remote contract requiring onsite work during the first week, with a bachelor's degree and hands-on GoAnywhere MFT and enterprise automation experience required.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on experience analyzing, designing, and developing GoAnywhere MFT jobs, workflows, and automation solutions.
Experience analyzing and interpreting Microsoft System Center Orchestrator runbooks.
Experience working in a Windows Server and Active Directory environment.
Experience with error handling, logging, monitoring, scheduling, and recovery strategies in automated processes.
Experience performing process and requirements analysis, risk assessment, change management, and complex technical migrations.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SQL Server on Windows and/or Azure SQL Database.
PowerShell scripting experience.
Experience with regular expressions, text processing, and file parsing.
Experience creating system, workflow, and process documentation.
Familiarity with enterprise integration, automation, or managed file-transfer best practices.
