Description
The Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operator sorts, routes, loads, and unloads cargo between trucks, chutes, staging areas, and storage locations. The role operates forklifts and other material-handling equipment, performs receiving and put-away, checks shipment accuracy and damage, maintains equipment and work areas, and follows safety, sanitation, security, and OSHA standards. The position reports to a Warehouse Supervisor and requires a high school diploma, fluent English, warehouse and transportation experience, MHE operations knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours. In-house on-the-job training is provided at initial hiring, with refresher training required every three years or after relevant accidents or incidents.
