Description
Beacon is hiring a PRN Mental Health Technician for an inpatient hospital setting to provide direct care, monitor patient behavior, support therapeutic activities, document observations, assist with care plans, and respond to behavioral crises. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mental health technician or psychiatric aide certification or equivalent experience, knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, and the ability to pass background checks and hospital credentialing requirements. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or higher in a related field, hospital or inpatient psychiatric experience, CPR and First Aid certification, EHR familiarity, and crisis intervention or de-escalation training. The position covers 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM shifts.
