Description
The Beacon team is hiring full-time Mental Health Technicians and/or Certified Nursing Assistants for 7 AM–7 PM shifts at its Bunkie Inpatient Facility. The role supports patients in a behavioral health setting by maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu, assisting with security and patient behavior, documenting observations and vital signs, supporting clinicians and therapists, performing clerical and intake duties, and responding to high-stress, high-volume work. A high school diploma or GED is required; one year of mental health care experience is preferred, and education in a mental health-related field may substitute for experience. The position requires CPR and management training, English communication, physical stamina, dexterity for physical restraint when necessary, and the ability to work under close supervision.
