Certified Group is hiring a Microbiology Technician to prepare samples and apply approved microbiological techniques for testing food products, ingredients, and environmental samples. The role includes aseptic techniques, media and reagent maintenance, inventory reporting, preventive maintenance, quality-control monitoring, recordkeeping, and adherence to laboratory safety and customer requirements. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with a 7.5% shift differential for the second shift. A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree in life science or two years of laboratory experience is preferred. The disclosed salary is $19.50 per hour.
