Description
Bimeda is hiring a full-time Microbiologist in Cambridge, Ontario, reporting to the Microbiology Supervisor and serving as a backup when the supervisor is absent. The role performs microbiological testing for raw materials and finished products, develops and validates testing methods, supports aseptic environmental monitoring, microbial testing, investigations, validations, media fills, audits, and training, and ensures compliance with cGMP, GLP, SOPs, and safety requirements. The position requires 3–5 years of regulated pharmaceutical experience, a BSc in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field, and knowledge of aseptic monitoring, microbial testing, cGMP, quality systems, and manufacturing processes. The role is scheduled for an afternoon shift Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with compensation of $50,000–$57,000 per year.
