SGS is hiring a Microbiologist I in Fairifeld, New Jersey to work in a laboratory performing food-pathogen and other microbiological analyses, handling samples, maintaining equipment, documenting quality activities, and recording nonconformities. The role requires a bachelor's degree in microbiology or a related field or commercial laboratory experience, basic English and mathematical skills, computer proficiency, Microsoft Office 365, and LIMS experience. Compensation is $23 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement matching, training, and leave benefits.
