Description
PDI is hiring a Microbiologist II for its Quality Control department to perform microbiological testing, analysis, sampling, and data review for raw materials, pharmaceutical chemicals, drug products, and finished products. The role supports finished-product release, laboratory equipment calibration, SOP and cGMP compliance, investigations, and technician training. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant science, at least three years of pharmaceutical microbiology experience, and knowledge of traditional microbiology techniques and USP chapters. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., pays $60,000–$68,000 annually plus bonus, and offers medical, dental, vision, HSA, retirement, and other benefits.
