IHRC, Inc. is hiring a full-time Microbiologist III in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to support research on leprosy complex bacteria (*Mycobacterium leprae* and *M. lepromatosis*). The role involves developing and validating molecular assays, analyzing clinical and animal samples, evaluating anti-leprosy drugs, performing PCR and sequencing experiments, documenting and analyzing data, and preparing reports and manuscripts. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, at least three years of laboratory experience, and expertise in molecular, immunological, and microbiological techniques; leprosy-specific and animal-manipulation experience are desirable.
