IHRC Inc. is hiring a Microbiologist IV in Atlanta, Georgia, to support the CDC’s Coronavirus and Other Respiratory Viruses Division. The role provides laboratory diagnostic, molecular, immunological, virological, and sequencing support for respiratory viruses, including assay development, viral isolate characterization, serological and cellular immune assessments, pathogen discovery, and research. The position requires a PhD and at least 10 years of experience in microbiology, biology, health science, or a related field, along with expertise in sequencing assays and platforms, clinical and human-specimen work, scientific communication, and laboratory quality and safety practices.
