Description
The Microbiology Processor receives, processes, and stores laboratory specimens at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital. Responsibilities include centrifugation, separation, refrigeration, labeling, smear preparation and staining, specimen inoculation into culture media, and sample storage. This is a staff-level, on-call evening shift role working under direct supervision, with routine laboratory duties requiring customer service, attention to detail, organization, and prioritization. College biology, microbiology, or cell biology courses and Medical Lab Technician certification are preferred. The position offers a pay range of $24.40 to $37.14 USD and medical, dental, retirement, and paid time off benefits.
