Description
The role administers, operates, and optimizes a complex Microsoft SQL Server landscape with approximately 300 databases and more than 40 TB of data. Responsibilities include ensuring availability and security, analyzing architectures, improving performance and scalability, supporting projects and technical decisions, advising business and development teams, and contributing to international IT initiatives. The position requires an IT-related qualification, several years of Microsoft SQL Server administration experience, knowledge of database architectures and performance tuning, and strong German and English skills. It offers a permanent position in Cologne with mobile working options of up to four days per week.
