Description
The Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator will administer, maintain, troubleshoot, backup, recover, and optimize SQL Server environments across on-premises data centers and AWS cloud environments. The role includes performance tuning, high-availability support, automation, documentation, and collaboration with database, systems, application, and customer teams. Required qualifications include SQL Server administration, indexing and performance management, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification. AWS, PowerShell, Python, Commvault, Always On, Windows Event Logs, SharePoint, and enterprise or classified-environment experience are desired.
