Description
The role is responsible for the stable and secure operation of Microsoft SQL Server environments for customers, including incident and service-request handling, production troubleshooting, performance and availability optimization, security, backup and restore, monitoring, patching, upgrades, migrations, and technical documentation. Candidates need relevant IT education or vocational training, several years of SQL Server administration experience, SLA-oriented ticket-handling experience, and knowledge of performance, backup, monitoring, security, and user-management practices; high-availability and recovery knowledge is preferred.
