Lodestar is hiring a mid-level Avionics Hardware Engineer to design, integrate, test, and qualify avionics for autonomous space platforms. The role covers avionics architecture ownership, high-speed PCB design and bring-up, hardware debugging, electrical harness fabrication, system integration, laboratory testing, and environmental qualification. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience, at least three years delivering complex electronics hardware projects, and experience with PCB design, signal integrity, lab instrumentation, electrical assembly, and design reviews. Preferred experience includes Linux-based SoCs, FPGAs, NVIDIA SoMs, PCB simulation, and space-qualified high-reliability electronics. The role pays £55,000–£75,000 annually and includes equity, leave, insurance, and pension benefits; ITAR eligibility requirements apply.
