Description
AECOM is hiring a Mid-Level Construction Inspector to support transportation and infrastructure construction projects throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. The role performs field and laboratory testing of concrete, asphalt, aggregate, soil, and other materials; conducts quality-control inspections; documents testing and project progress; coordinates with contractors, engineers, laboratory personnel, and agency representatives; and assists with closeout activities. The position requires a bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience, a valid driver's license, outdoor field work, and travel to active construction sites. The role does not provide work authorization or visa sponsorship.
