Description
The Database Administrator will administer, monitor, support, and maintain enterprise database environments including IBM DB2 LUW, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle Coherence, and Redis. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, upgrades, backups, restores, data recovery, incident resolution, performance tuning, security patching, migrations, and documentation, while supporting infrastructure, development, and architecture teams. The role requires experience with major relational databases, NoSQL environments, backup and recovery, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, with preferred cloud, automation, and high-availability experience.
