Description
Vale Base Metals is hiring one Mid-Level Engineer - Operations in Canaã dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil. The role coordinates surveying, geodesy, bathymetry, and aerial surveying teams; manages geotechnical monitoring of dams, waste rock piles, slopes, and open pits; validates geospatial products and technical reports; supports geotechnical risk assessment and mitigation; and leads operational teams and technical interfaces. Candidates need a completed bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, active CREA registration, geotechnical and surveying experience, and knowledge of geodetic networks, drones, LiDAR, photogrammetry, and related technologies. The position is on an indefinite contract with a 08:00–17:00 schedule, and the application period was 29/09/2026 to 05/10/2026.
