Description
The role performs shipboard electrical installation, testing, repair, and alteration work, including cabling, electronic equipment, bus transfers, switchboards, transformers, bonding and grounding, and electrical troubleshooting. The position may lead small teams, track job progress and budget performance, and requires personal hand and hardwire tools. Candidates need three years of shipboard electrical installation and repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work on ships, barges, and submarines.
