Description
BlackSea Technologies is hiring a mid-level Network Engineer to build and operate the Mainstay data pipeline for autonomous maritime fleets. The role designs and implements networking solutions for telemetry, mission data, software updates, configuration management, secure overlays, mesh and distributed connectivity, and resilient communication across vessels, shore systems, and cloud environments. The engineer will debug field issues, work with hardware and operating systems, and occasionally travel. The position is flexible or hybrid in Baltimore and requires a United States citizenship, 3 to 7 years of network engineering experience, and relevant routing, security, scripting, and distributed-networking skills.
