Kuehne+Nagel is hiring a Software Engineer to manage, develop, and support the SALOG application used for Sea/Air Forwarding operations. The role covers the full agile development lifecycle, including functional and technical component implementation, continuous delivery, software quality, testing, code reviews, production troubleshooting, application rollouts, and operations support. The engineer will also contribute to migrating from a Java Swing application to a modern Angular application and may experiment with AI-assisted development. Required qualifications include a computer science or similar qualification, experience with development tools such as Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Git, and Jenkins, strong Java and JUnit expertise, and knowledge of Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL; Angular frontend experience is advantageous. English communication skills are required.
